Wire and thread sculpture inspired by the beautiful and colorful sugar skulls from Dia de Los Muertos and La Calavera Catrina.

 

Yes, the base mesh did look like Jason Voorhees' mask and made the artist doubt her plans... But the process was enjoyable enough for her to keep going :)
